A preview of social impact activities in the new year

Happy New Year!

After a brief hiatus over the holidays, our Social Impact blog will be “going live” again to bring you the latest on Social Impact at Bain.  Looking ahead to the next few months, Bainies worldwide will be sharing their perspectives on many high-impact initiatives and unique experiences.

Some of the voices you’ll hear from include:

  • Our One Young World Delegate speaker
  • A pro bono education team member
  • An extern working in the global development space
  • A Bainie on leave of absence at an impact investing venture capital fund

We will also be featuring an exclusive travel log from the global Bain team going to Antarctica on a sustainability expedition.

Follow their journey on our blog from February 28th – March 13th as they partner with sustainability leader Robert Swan and the Antarctica 2041 team (www.2041.com) to confront challenges in sustainability, climate change and leadership.

More to come over the next few weeks…it promises to be a momentous start to 2013!

This is really awesome, I hope there is a good first aid kit in this journey and in fact defibrillator. At some point, I wonder if members of the team wont be passing out solid urea. So awesome I will give a lot to be part of this trip. Are there videos (from archives) of the 2003 trip?

    Awesome sauce!
